Hillary Griffen

Co-owner, Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor

Hillary’s approach is warm and welcoming…but don’t be fooled! She will push and challenge each participant to be a stronger, more confident version of themselves. Hillary is a Certified Personal Training Specialist through CanfitPro and has completed additional training in active aging. She is currently completing her Pilates instructor certification. Hillary’s experience ranges from private, semi-private, and large group strength training, to spin, aquafit and pilates instruction. She has trained men and women from teens to seniors, with the main goal of keeping people moving and living their best lives for as long as possible!

 

Madison is a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, reformer pilates instructor, fascial stretch therapist (FST) and soon to be licensed RMT! At Rise Fitness, she offers a variety of reformer pilates classes. Maddy’s classes are high energy and she brings so much enthusiasm and encouragement to all that she does. From her FST and RMT training, Maddy brings a deep knowledge of human mechanics to the table. Outside of the studio, Maddy enjoys spending time with her dog Cash, running, and travelling.

Raluca Truta

Personal Trainer

Raluca has always been passionate about empowering others. As a Certified Personal Trainer through CanfitPro and pursuing a certification as a Holistic Nutritionist, her mission is to help you feel your best inside and out. Raluca loves to create workouts that are fun and empowering, leaving you stronger and excitd to keep moving. Her goal is to make fitness something you love, not something you “have to” do. By building practical habits that fit seamlessly into your life, she will help you embrace a balanced, sustainable approach to wellness – allowing you to achieve your goals and enjoy lasting results. Raluca will guide you as you create a lifestyle you’ll love and celebrate every step of your journey alongside you!

Brooke’s passion for movement stemmed from her time as a dancer. She danced professionally and is a dance instructor with over 12 years of teaching experience. Brooke is also a certified Yoga Instructor, Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates instructor. She has taught all ages and levels, she has worked with kids, seniors and athletes. Brooke uses her extensive dance background and other trainings such as yoga, to create a well-balanced and original class. Her goal is to create space in the body and mind for new and better things to come your way. Brooke’s focus is mobility, strength and stability in each class.

Katryna Freitas

Personal Trainer

From an early age, Katryna discovered the power of movement, competition, and pushing past limits. Growing up in Toronto, she excelled in athletics—competing in high jump, playing competitive volleyball and later joining the competitive springboard diving team at the University of Toronto. In 2010, Katryna turned her passion into her purpose by becoming a certified health and fitness coach. Since then, she has dedicated her career to helping others build strength, confidence, and unstoppable momentum. With expertise in athletic training, functional movement, and mindset coaching, she empowers clients to break barriers—whether stepping into the gym for the first time or chasing new performance goals. Three years ago, Katryna moved to Port Perry with her husband and two boys and is proud to now call this community home.
